The Poodle Parade Hat is the result of a year-long collaboration between milliner Samantha-Tara Mainville of Heirloom Hats and tufting artist Emilie Hauss of Atelier New Hauss. Together, we reimagined a classic silhouette into a playful statement piece.

The silhouette blends the upright grace of a tall pillbox with the volume of a Russian cossack hat, creating a form that feels both sculptural and soft. Its surface is tufted entirely in wool, featuring three poodles caught mid-motion. One leaping, one trotting, one in downward dog. Each wears a small sweater and a bow set neatly over the ear, rendered in colour and texture that bring the figures to life.

Inside, the hat is lined with 100% polyester satin, chosen to protect hair from frizz and ensure a smooth, comfortable fit.

Available in two soft tones; Minty Blue and Oat

The Poodle Parade Hat is produced in extremely limited quantities: only 18 pieces per colour (6 small, 7 medium, 5 large). Each one is handmade with care in Montreal.

A collectible hat for true lovers, and a study in patience, humour, and art. The kind of piece that reminds us why things made slowly still matter.

Pairs well with
